She's Rounding Third and Headed for Home....


WHAA offers a girls softball program for ages 7-18.  Typically teams play competitors from both within and outside Hempfield Township. 

2013 SOFTBALL


Tuesday, May 7
The West Hempfield Rampage were victorious 18-4 over the South Greensburg Dirt Diamonds.  Maddie Uschock pitched great and had 2 base hits.  While Jenna Cumming had 3 hits including a double and 5 RBI's.  Others contributing offensively where Sarah Jo Soltis, Natalie Heltebran, & Jessica Hervol.  The Rampage are now 4-0 on the season and play next on May 9th at Blasco Field, first pitch 6:00.

Thursday, May 2
The West Hempfield Magic traveled to Maxwell, winning the contest 16-1.  Maura Uschock hit a 3-run homerun and Callie Sowers had a 2-run double.  Bella Tuttoilmondo, Kelsi Terzolino, Katie Clayton, & Sydney Pierce & Uschock all pitched well in the game.  The Magic are now 2-0 on the season.
The West Hempfield Rampage improved their record to 3-0 with their home opener victory over the Scottdale YMCA Spirit, 10-0.  Mekayla Dedo made several great plays in the outfield to help preserve the shutout.  Kacey Wees and Maddie Uschock pitched well in the game.  The Rampage will try to improve to 4-0 when the host the South Greensburg Dirt Diamonds on Tuesday, May 7th at Merlin Field in
West Hempfield.

Tuesday, April 30
The West Hempfield Rampage traveled to South Greensburg and defeated the Dirt Diamonds 11-5 at the Sheridan Ave Field.  Maddie Uschock and Kacey Wees pitched for the Rampage and Sarah Jo Soltis, Natalie Heltebran, Uschock, and Wees had mutiple hits in the game.  The Rampage are now 2-0 on the season.

Wednesday, April 24
The West Hempfield Magic won their season opener with a 3-0 victory over Jeannette by the score of 3-0.  Maura Uschock, Bella Tuttoilmondo, & Kelsi Terzolino combined to pitch a no-hitter and walked only 3 batters.  Tuttoilmondo also helped the offense with a 2-run single.

Monday, April 22
The West Hempfield Rampage traveled to Bruno Field in Sewickley and won 18-1 behind the strong pitching and hitting of Maddie Uschock.  Uschock hit 2 homeruns and a triple and also pitched very well.  Kacey Wees and Raquel Monteparte also pitched well for the Rampage.  Kiersten Schade, Jenna Cumming, Sarah Jo Soltis, Natalie Heltebran, &  Wees all had mutilple hits in the contest.
